GRIMES, Iowa — A Grimes family said they are worried about potential cuts to Medicaid, which they rely on heavily to take care of their son, Charlie.

Charlie, 9, lives with complex medical needs and developmental delays. But he’s made significant progress over the years. Up until three years ago, he couldn’t walk. Now, he uses his walker to get around with ease.
